Yep, I graduated in 1996. Armstrong was a huge rival. Blake was a ball boy back then, now he he getting lots of playing time and draining 3′s for the Gophers. This is going to be a fun season.

You went to Hopkins? I went to Armstrong graduated in 1998. That was back when the Armstrong was actually competitive with Hopkins. Now, they get their asses whooped.

I’m looking forward to the Gopher basketball season coming up. By the way, COMC is amazing. Thanks for giving me a platform to sell my cards.

And, I got a phone call from Tim right after that shot.

“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! That was the best finish to a game I’ve ever seen. Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! No way! Oh my gosh!…”

I saved the voicemail for as long as my cell phone would keep it. Now I wish I had found a way to archive it and make it available here.

And as a previous Royal and Gopher… I can relate to the enthusiasm!
