If you are a first time seller, simply include this coupon with the cards that you send us for processing, and we will discount your processing fees by $20. We are confident that you will enjoy our services, so we want you to try it out, even if that means your first batch is completely free. We offer this with no strings attached.

Referral Program
If you are already a seller on the site or if you have extra coupons you can hand out, please write your user name on the other side of this coupon as if you were endorsing a check and pass it along. Once we get 500 cards for processing from that account, we will put $5 store credit in your account as a thank you for handing out the card.

How to Get More
All orders placed this weekend will include a couple of these coupons. Also, all orders placed on BlowoutCards.com will receive a coupon as well. If you have a card shop, attend card shows, or just know a bunch of people you would like to refer, please contact us, and we can send you a batch of cards. Many of our sellers have already received a package with a couple dozen coupons to hand out, and we even have some eBay sellers including these cards in all outgoing orders.

Why We Want More Sellers
Currently 1 in 20 buyers on the site also sells, but nearly all sellers also buy. Once we get a buyer to also sell, they are hooked. We are no longer just another place where they can buy cards. Instead, we become a place where they are invested in watching their cards sell, and they earn store credit that is best used on COMC. These buyers that become sellers rarely convert store credit into cash, instead they recycle their store credit and help store credit get to the sellers that need cash that much quicker. Even when they do get cash, they most likely just spend it on more cards and help the trading card industry. We want as many people buying and selling as possible. This is good for the health of the entire trading card community.

CheckOutMyCards.com is a “network effect” website. This means that the more active users on the site, the more value it provides for each of the users. Facebook is another example of a network affect website. If facebook had no users, there would be no point in having a facebook account, but now that nearly everyone is on facebook, there is enough value that it has become the second most popular website on the planet.

Similarly, the more active users we have on COMC, the better it is for everyone. It will be that much easier to finish the tough set you started or find that rare card of your favorite player. It will be that much easier for someone to find your extra cards and help you convert them into what you really want… more cards or cash.

The holidays are rapidly approaching, and with it Black Friday. Make sure you’re ready, and we will too. The last time we did a shipping special there was a postal strike in Canada. Now that it is over, we are running a shipping special for the whole world.

Normally our bulk or special shipping options charge an extra $10 for any package going outside the US. This weekend the special will offer NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS! All of you that want to have stuff shipped outside the US, start buying your items and preparing your shipment.

This special is specific to the Ginter Code parallel. It is not eligible for other cards from Topps Allen & Ginter or for code cards from previous years.

Attending the National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago? Have cards you want to sell?
Instead of shipping them to us, you can just drop them off at our booth (#445).

You can take advantage of any of our published processing services, or you can use a promotional service that will only be available at the National.

Here is how you will be able to use the show-only service:
□ 1 Come find us at booth #445
□ 2 Grab a special 550-count box
□ 3 Fill it with no more than five different products
□ 4 Drop it back off with us before the end of the show

Specific pricing and processing time will only be revealed at the show.

If you just want to use one of our normal processing services, that is fine. You are welcome to drop those off as well. The show-only service is the only one that will have the 5-product limitation.

What we mean by “Product”

A product is a specific set of cards. Not just a year, not just a sport, not just a brand. A product is something like “2008 Bowman Chrome Baseball” or “2010/11 Famous Fabrics Ink – Hockey Edition”. A product includes any card that it would be possible to pull from opening a specific pack.
Note: These packs must be from an original manufacturer, and cannot be repackaged products from a variety of years.

Example of Same Product:

These two cards count as the same product, because you can pull Yankee Stadium Legacy insert cards out of packs of 2008 UD Masterpieces. Same pack, Same product.

Example of Different Products:

These two cards are both Fleer, both baseball, and both the same player, but they come from different products. One is a 1995 Fleer and one is 1996 Fleer. Different pack, different product.

To take advantage of this special you can have a maximum of 5 different products in your 550-count box. If you’ve got more than five, even if it’s only one or two stray cards, you won’t be eligible. We think the best way to take advantage of this deal is to buy unopened boxes from some of the great vendors at The National, crack open the product, maybe take advantage of some wrapper redemption promotions, and then just pop them into our 550-count boxes and drop them off at our booth. You are welcome to bring cards from home. Just remember the 5-product rule: same pack, same product; different pack, different product. See you at the National!

Our shipping team rocks!

OK, you guys responded nicely to our 10¢ Shipping Special by requesting more than 25,000 cards to be shipped. However, this didn’t quite beat last year’s Black Friday shipping special. So our shipping team thinks this isn’t a big enough challenge. They really want to push the limits and see what is possible.

10¢ Shipping & $50 Daily Giveaway

We are extending our 10¢ Shipping for the rest of June, and we will give away $50 store credit each day for the largest shipment request placed with the Special shipping option. Each day we will use our facebook page to announce the winner and how many cards were in their shipment.

Extra Bonus: If you place your shipment request by 11:59 PM on Monday, June 27, we will make sure it is packaged and handed to the post office by Friday, July 1st. We really want to smash our record for most cards shipped in a month.
