Here are the 2009 Q3 stats.

We are extremely pleased with the growth. We are already starting to max out our warehouse and need to start planning for a move into a larger space.

Here are the Q2 stats.

I saw the partial stats for July when I was putting together the Q2 stats, and it looks like Q3 is going to be pretty good.
Here is a PDF of the brochure we handed out at the National.
The reception at the National has been overwhelmingly positive. I am amazed by how many people have only bought or sold on eBay and have still never heard of us. That is a good sign. That means we still have a vast untapped market. We will continue to try to grow at a manageable pace and keep our service as high quality as possible.
It has been a lot of fun talking with people. Steve Hollander and Dave Elmore have been doing a great job of letting people know how the site works and giving them a taste of their experience as users of the site and as employees. We have also been seeing many users, such as ohiomike, who have been helping spread the word about the site and getting people to start using our service.
I have had opportunities to talk with several influential members of the collecting community.
– Went to dinner with Mike Silvia, owner of SportsCardForum.com
– Met Chris Gilmore, owner of freedomcardboard.com
– Did a recorded interview for The Card Podcast
– Had a long chat with Dean from Dean’s Cards
– Answered more questions about our service for Dr. James Beckett
– Finally got to meet Bill Sutherland from Beckett Media
– Talked again with Ted Golden, president of Card Pricer
– Did an interview with Rich Mueller, managing editor of Sports Collectors Daily
Tomorrow morning I will be meeting with Blowout Cards to discuss ways our sites could help each other.
This year’s National has been a great experience. It was two years ago at the National that we announced our consignment service. Seeing the response at the National gives us a nice yearly opportunity to gauge the progress we have made. I am very pleased with the response that we are seeing.
Congratulations to john9172 for sending us item #1,000,000 and winning the $100.

This was totally random, but it is fitting that item #1,000,000 happened to be a Shaqille O’Neal rookie card. It was added to the site the same week that Shaq was traded to Cleveland, where the National Sports Collectors Convention is being held later this month.
I think I might get it framed and bring it to display at the national. We just finalized out travel plans for the national. Steve Hollander, Dave Elmore, and I will be attending the national this year. We are now working on the promotional materials and specials we want to run.
If you will be at the national, you will want to make sure to swing by our booth to take advantage of our show-only specials and to introduce yourself to us. We will have opportunities for users of the site to volunteer at our booth and share their experience with people attending the show. Keep an eye on the blog for more details.

I know it is early, but the first 6 days of June have been very good for business. Maybe the baseball season is getting into swing.
I was looking at our stats and noticed that May of last year was the first full month in our current warehouse. Then I noticed that CheckOutMyCards.com generated more revenue in these first 6 days of June than we did the entire month of May last year.
Hopefully this is a reflection of things changing in the economy. Thanks for spreading the word about CheckOutMyCards.com and making it what it is today. Please continue to let people know what you think of our service, and continue sending us your feedback. As fellow card collectors, we loving finding ways to help all of us enjoy collecting sports cards even more.
I have no clue what was so significant about yesterday, but we did manage to break our single day record for revenue. No specials, no promotions, just a normal Thursday, but yesterday beat out the day after Thanksgiving which had our huge flat shipping special.
Hopefully this is a positive sign regarding the economy, but I am sure it is way to early to tell. In any case, it is really nice to see this the same week we had a couple new employees join our team.
Here are the 2009 Q1 stats. Thank you so much for continuing to help us continue the record setting trends!

* Page Views are based on Google Analytics.
* Cards Added tracks the rate at which we upload new cards into sellers accounts. It does not track when the sellers started setting asking prices.
* Total Sellers is the total number of users that have sent us cards and set asking prices on their cards. Many sellers have sold their entire inventory and do not currently have any more cards for sale.
* Total Accounts only counts users that have created and activated their accounts. It does not count people that have purchased cards off of the site without creating an account.
Congrats everyone! Just a few hours ago we passed last month’s sales total making this the 10th consecutive month of growing sales.
In April of 2008 we didn’t see growth in sales because we moved to our current warehouse. Prior to that we had 8 consecutive months of growth.
Here are the stats that we will be printing on our next round of business cards.

We just recently broke into the top 100,000 sites per Alexa.com.
As I alluded to yesterday, we were about to set another record.
On Wednesday we blew away our previous best day by 45%!
On Friday we be blew away Wednesday’s record by 34%!!!
In the last four days we have done more business than we did for the entire months of November and December combined last year.
We had several sellers let us know that they sold more than 100 cards just yesterday.
I looked at the number of cards requested to be shipped, and we had 10 times more cards requested to be shipped yesterday than our previous best day!!!!
I am speechless.
On a personal note: I only worked half days on Wednesday and Friday. I am really proud of the team that is taking care of things when I am not there.
When we announced the Black Friday special of $3 shipping on Wednesday we immediately started setting records. Account holders started buying up cards and getting them ready to be shipped on Friday.
On Wednesday we did 45% more business than our record setting day from two weeks ago.
Today, we are just about to beat Wednesday’s record and it is not even 4:00PM. Let’s see how much we can beat our record by.
