Notice that the #10 seller today has more book value than the #1 seller two years ago.

eaglescards and baseballcardsetc are the only accounts that have been able maintain a footing the Top 10 list.

Rookies_n_Jerseys is an account to keep a close eye on. He only started consigning cards with us 6 months ago, and his account is half way to the million dollar mark.

eaglescards is a shop owner from the Seattle area. After sitting down with him and comparing his eBay numbers for the past year to his CheckOutMyCards numbers, it became obvious that he was better off sending his cards to us to sell.

Even though our 20% cash-out fee sounds high to some, it is actually amazingly low. Once you factor in all the other expenses required to sell on eBay, it turns out that most sellers are paying 30-40% of their final sales to eBay, PayPal, shipping fees, listing fees, labor costs, supplies, and the list goes on.

eBay definitely has its place. There are some cards that are hot and should be sold at auction. But it turns out that the majority of a persons collection will sell better with a Buy it Now or Best Offer pricing. That is exactly what we offer.

Since we are doing everything in large volume, we are able to cut costs way lower than everyone else. For example, our shipping rates are $3 for the first card and $0.25 for each additional card. Our average order is about 10 cards. That is $5.25 for shipping of 10 cards or just over $0.50/card.

eaglescards thought his buyers were getting a better deal on shipping from him on eBay because he was offering $2.50 flat shipping on any number of won auctions. The thing is, the majority of the time people only buy 1 card. It turned out they were paying about $2 shipping per card. That is 4 times what we charge on average per card. This is extra money that buyers could be spending on actual cards instead of paying for shipping overhead. This is the advantage of having one warehouse with nearly 1 million cards to choose from.

Needless to say, eaglescards is set to start soaring. He is now actively buying collections and sending them our way.

Now eaglescards is the 3rd seller to cross the $100,000 mark.

Considering the fact that more than half a million different people have visited the site over the past year, I was surprised by how many people have still not heard of us. Everyone we talked to that has used CheckOutMyCards.com or even just casually visited it has loved the site.

The highlight of the show for me is definitely seeing how excited our users are. hotsmurf1390 made sure to come by our booth on the first night and introduced us to some of his friends from Austria. He met us at last year’s National and became a seller soon after that. bdrum67 started selling football cards around the time of the Super Bowl and has helped spur on a snowball effect that has tripled our inventory of football cards. rithm is one of our sellers that has only used the site to flip cards. He hasn’t yet sent us cards that he has on hand, but he has successfully re-sold cards that he has purchased off the site. We also got to chat with Seattle area dealers eaglescards and hankssportscards.

This week we also crossed another milestone. We now have 10 sellers that have more than $10,000 BV worth of cards on the site.

Wow! The site is definitely back up and working smoothly. This week we have been setting records for number of orders and size of orders. Several people have been placing 100+ card orders.

Yesterday we set another record for most sellers in one purchase. Someone from New South Wales, Australia placed an order for 139 cards from 30 different sellers and only had to pay $20 for shipping to Australia. That is absolutely amazing!

All of the cards were Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, or David Robinson cards.

There are now 7 accounts that have earned more than $1,000 in store credit by selling cards through our consignment program, and there are many more sellers that are getting close.

SteveSC was the first consignment seller to pass $1,000 in sales.

PrestonGillespie was the not only the fastest seller to pass $1,000 in sales, he was also the first seller to have $1,000 deposited in his PayPal account. Preston had more than $1,000 in sales in less than a month.

GoodDeal was the second fastest seller to pass $1,000 in sales. It took him just under 2 months, but he would have done so faster if we had the man power to process his cards fast enough. He has been very patient with us as we are experiencing growing pains.

DKSchultz was only a hair slower than GoodDeal in his race to $1,000. He hasn’t sent us as much inventory as GoodDeal, but with prices that are almost as good as PrestonGillespie, DKSchultz has seen a lot of success.

EaglesCards just passed $1,000 in the last few days. He is another seller that you should keep a close eye on. He currently has less than 2,000 cards on the site, but we are in the middle of processing almost 5,000 more cards for him.

LowPriceCards has a strong lead in total sales. This is the account used for all the cards that were being sold on my previous website, LowPriceCards.com. That site evolved into CheckOutMyCards.com almost exactly a year ago. It was technically the first account to have more than $1,000 in sales, but it isn’t really a consignment seller since the inventory is technically owned by CheckOutMyCards.com.

TimGetsch is primarily my childhood collection. Though it did have $1,000 in sales before any other consignment account, it kind of had an unfair advantage with a 6 month head start before we opened up the system for other sellers.

SteveSC is currently the #2 seller on CheckOutMyCards.com behind only LowPriceCards, but that isn’t really fair because LowPriceCards is the account used by my previous website, LowPriceCards.com. All of that site’s inventory was moved into this account when we re-branded LowPriceCards.com as the consignment website CheckOutMyCards.com. So, technically SteveSC is the #1 consignment seller on the site, but that that is soon to change because we have a couple other sellers that are making strong bids to take over that spot.

eaglescards and gooddeal have each given us around $15K – $25K worth of cards that we are currently processing. Over the next few weeks, a ton of great cards will be added to the site, and all will be at amazing prices!

Another seller to keep a close eye on is prestongillespie. He has only been selling on the site for 1 week and has already sold 300+ cards for more than $700.
